Robert M. Benedict

Robert M. Benedict, president and founder of Benedict Negotiating Seminars, began teaching negotiations in 1984. Since then, he has personally taught his “Real World Negotiating Seminar” and related courses to over 25,000 purchasing, engineering, sales, marketing, and information systems professionals for some of the world’s largest corporations. Mr. Benedict’s background includes being elected mayor of Minnesota’s then fourth-largest city (Bloomington) at age 23. Two years later he was re-elected by the largest majority in the city’s history. At age 26, he was elected as one of the youngest members of the Minnesota State Senate. Today he focuses his energies and expertise, as he has for more than 30 years, on the teaching of negotiation skills, while serving as President of Benedict Negotiating Seminars, Inc.

Course Description

The majority of Christians give to their church through tithes and offerings. However, studies indicate that a large portion of Christian giving is only at 5% percent. In this course, we will learn the importance of responding to God’s heart when He calls us to step out in faith while giving. When our giving comes from the heart of God, there should be no feelings of regret within us. Our God is a generous God, and He wants our lives and businesses to echo His character. A godly company is a giving company. As long as we motivate ourselves to give into God’s Kingdom happily, He is faithful to His word when He promises to bless us ten times more.

Robert Benedict, 35 years ago, was utterly destroyed financially and devastated physically. At one of the lowest points of his life, God led him and his wife to a Scripture:

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”
(Malachi 3:10 New International Version)

With virtually nothing between them and financial bankruptcy, they decided as a last hope to take God up on His challenge.

This course is a true story of God’s faithfulness to His promises and His people. It is a story of financial and physical restoration, amid hair-raising and faith-building experiences – and how God touched many, many people throughout the world in the process.

Not only will you find it an exciting story to watch, but you might find yourself establishing your own God Account and profoundly touching others’ lives.
