WHY SHOULD I GET A BACHELOR’S DEGREE?
A bachelor’s in ministry is not just a theology degree; it is an education in leadership. The Bachelor of Ministry program prepares a student to work in or with church organizations in various capacities. Obtaining a ministry degree is not just for people who want to pursue a career on the Church Mountain. It also offers opportunities on the Business Mountain and other career paths.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A BACHELOR’S IN MINISTRY?
Earning a bachelor’s in ministry prepares students for a variety of careers. Graduates may find work in churches, schools, social work, healthcare facilities, and community outreach centers. ISOM Online offers significant overlap with programs like the Marketplace module that offer business administration, management, and leadership skills. Graduates go on to find meaningful work in various industries and workplaces in all of the Seven Mountains.
PATHS AFTER BACHELOR’S PROGRAM
You may opt to earn a master’s degree after a bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree allows you to pursue a wider range of professions such as church planting, Church director, youth pastor, pastoral counselor, and even pastor.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Bachelor’s programs in ministry typically require graduates to articulate knowledge of the Bible, demonstrate leadership skills, and effectively address real-life problems. You may pursue specialized ministry education, with elective modules. If you have not completed the ISOM Core, we encourage you to build a strong doctrinal foundation to grow in faith and maturity.
