MINISTRY MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAM

The master of ministry degree can help you achieve your goal of faith-based education and Kingdom career paths. A master’s degree combines biblical study with applied practices that translate into a wide range of career possibilities. Graduates pursue roles as pastors, church administrators, church planters, missionaries, teachers, and business leaders. This program is perfect for students who hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to continue their faith-based education for spiritual enrichment or meet church organization needs by pursuing a master’s degree. 

You will need to complete any THREE (3) modules, not including the ISOM Core (Trimesters 1–5) OR previously taken modules, nine book reports, and a thesis paper.

WHY SHOULD I GET A MASTER’S DEGREE?
A master’s in ministry combines theological and pastoral studies with administrative concepts. Ministry degrees provide candidates with sound doctrine in Christian theology, team development, mentoring, and pastoral skills that serve as the basis for many church leadership roles. Graduates go on to take Kingdom leadership positions in administration and education.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH A MASTER’S IN MINISTRY?
Earning a master’s of ministry enables you to pursue meaningful careers that embody Kingdom principles. This program concentrations instill the knowledge and skills needed to take on specialized roles in the church organization. Other specializations focus on messianic outreach, healing, women’s ministry, and business.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The master’s program allows you to customize your master’s degree by selecting a concentration from select elective modules. These specialized tracks focus on a particular type of ministry or pastoral field. While offerings vary by module, some commonly offered concentrations lead to careers, such as church ministry and leadership, Islamic outreach pastoral leadership, miracle evangelism, women’s ministry, Christian apologetics, business brand management, marketing, business leadership, influence, stewardship, economics, starting new businesses, business management, negotiation tactics, employment hiring principles, church planting, missions, and much more.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

In general, master’s programs require more coursework than other majors with thesis and book report components. The average master of ministry demands around two years of study. ISOM Online students typically earn their degrees in less time, helping you save time and money. Because you can study at your schedule, you can earn your degree in as little as a year or as long as you need it.

Master’s students must be enrolled for at least twelve months to be eligible for graduation.

PREREQUISITES
  1. Completion of the ISOM Core, which is the first five Trimesters ISOM has to offer.
  2. Completion of Bachelor’s degree, which includes five modules choosen.
  3. Completion of three 
  4. A 60% passing grade for each course in the ISOM Core and an 80% attendance record. 
  5. A 70% passing grade per additional modules and an 80% attendance record.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Three modules, not previously taken. 
  2. Nine Book reports (each five-page single-spaced at 12pt Times Roman font or ten pages double spaced). 
  3. Thesis paper (25-page single-spaced at 12pt Times Roman font or 50 pages double spaced).
  4. Tuition fees.
  5. At least twelve months of enrollment. 
  6. An application to the partnering institution.
  7. Apply to Graduate fee.

There is a thesis paper all master’s students must complete. 

Tuition

ISOM makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Tuition for master’s students is $2,388. Students who sign up for an annual membership save up to $398.00.

Apply to Graduate Fee

The Apply to Graduate fee is $364.00 for all master’s students. This fee helps cover the costs associated with the final preparation for graduation and the awarding of a student’s degree. The fee covers degree audition and evaluation, creating each student’s diploma, and mailing each student’s diploma. The fee is a one-time charge for those ready and eligible to apply for graduation.

Applying to CLU
