The session unfolds as a divine masterpiece, tracing God’s creation from light to the intricacy of man and woman. Delve into Eve’s creation, symbolizing God’s healing and intention for marriage. Unveiling marriage as a unique creation reflecting the trinity of God, Man, and Woman, Dr. Doug emphasizes its symbolic depth in the Marriage Ceremony. Discover the profound purpose of marriage—to mold us into the image of Jesus Christ. Your marriage, viewed as a miracle, becomes a powerful testimony, a triunion displaying God’s presence, honor, and reverence.

2. The Difference Between a Secular and a Christian Marriage

In Session 2 of The Marriage Trinity with Dr. Douglas Weiss, explore the distinctions between Secular and Christian Marriages. Dr. Doug unveils the root issues affecting Christian marriages, drawing parallels with flawed beliefs about money. The lesson navigates world challenges, emphasizing the need for a Christian worldview in marriage. Discover symptoms of a Secular Marriage, such as self-centeredness and power struggles. In contrast, a Truly Christian Marriage embraces serving, submission, order, and purpose. Discern the nature of your marriage by evaluating God’s role. This session provides essential insights for those seeking a Christian marriage aligned with God’s design.

3. The Greater Serves the Lesser

In Session 3 of The Marriage Trinity, Dr. Douglas Weiss explores the profound principle that “The Greater Serves the Lesser.” Drawing inspiration from Mark 10:35-45, the lesson challenges secular thinking and emphasizes the need for ambition with the right disposition, especially within marriage. Jesus’ teachings in Luke 22:23-27 dismantle hierarchical ideas, addressing the disciples’ misconceptions influenced by Roman structures. The impactful scene of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet exemplifies greatness through service. This Kingdom principle reveals that “Greatness serves,” promising a blessed life. Contrastingly, a controlling and manipulative approach is deemed cursed. Embrace the power of serving in marriage, reflecting Jesus’ secure and servant-hearted disposition.
