Sessions

1. Embracing the Vision
In the first session, “Embracing the Vision,” participants are urged to recognize the crucial role of visionary leadership in fulfilling the Great Commission. The session emphasizes the biblical concept of vision, distinguishing it from personal opinions or group consensus. The focus is on aligning one’s life with God’s purpose, drawing inspiration from the call of Jeremiah. The lesson outlines key principles, highlighting the importance of embracing God’s Divine plans, recognizing personal value to the Kingdom, speaking as an oracle of God, diligently engaging in God’s work, seeking revelation through prayer, and sowing in faith for a harvest. The overarching message is a call to live with purpose, aligning one’s life with God’s Divine plans to impact the world positively.
2. Qualities of a Visionary
In “Qualities of a Visionary,” participants explore the essential attributes exemplified by Joshua, a paradigmatic figure in effective leadership transitions. Emphasizing the precious nature of Divine plans, the session underscores that those entrusted with a vision must undergo private tutelage by the Holy Spirit. Drawing parallels between Joshua’s journey and the contemporary Church’s season of transition, the lesson outlines ten qualities of a strategic trailblazer. These include having a forward look, embracing one’s inheritance, demonstrating boldness in the face of opposition, acknowledging God’s constant presence, possessing the courage to lead, and prioritizing God’s Word. The session also introduces the concept of crossing one’s personal Jordan, inviting participants to experience a life marked by miracles and divine interventions.

3. Focusing the Vision
Building on the qualities of God-inspired authority explored in Joshua’s life, ‘Focusing the Vision’ navigates ten crucial steps for transforming Divine plan into reality. Participants are guided to know, trust, and develop their spiritual gifts, receiving a God-given plans for ministry. The session stresses attempting endeavors that magnify God’s glory and encourages unwavering faith in fulfilling one’s calling. Practical advice includes developing a devotional plan, aligning personal dreams with God’s plan for nations, and prioritizing goals with Dr. Ralph Mahoney’s guidance path. The vital role of the Holy Spirit in empowering and guiding the seer is underscored. David Shibley emphasizes aligning personal dreams with God’s Divine plan through faith, practical planning, and reliance on the Holy Spirit.

4. God’s Vision and Your Vision
In “God’s Vision and Your Vision,” the session explores God’s purpose for instilling faith, power, holiness, and prosperity in His people. Emphasizing personal plans development, it underscores aligning individual dreams with God’s global plan—to bring all nations under Jesus Christ’s Lordship. Grounded in the Great Commission, the lesson stresses international ownership of evangelism as believers globally share the privilege and responsibility. Encouraging participants to personalize their role in fulfilling the Great Commission individually, corporately within their church, and collaboratively with the entire body of Christ, the teaching highlights the call to bear abundant fruit, specifically the harvest of precious souls worldwide.

5. Funding the Vision
In “Funding the Vision,” the session unveils the bottom-line of God’s blessing—being recipients to become blessings. Echoing the covenant with Abraham, David’s prayer in Psalm 67 emphasizes the responsibility of Abraham’s seed to extend blessings globally. Transitioning to funding God’s plans, the lesson asserts that God provides strategies and resources, contingent on sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. To secure God’s favor, aligning plans with God’s strategy and timing is crucial. The teaching outlines ten strategies, including forgiveness, faith-filled giving, tithing, gratitude, seizing opportunities, wise risk-taking, discerning the Spirit’s prompting, and transparently sharing the strategy. Lessons from a desperate widow in 2 Kings 4 illuminate principles for funding personal dreams.
