Course Description

32% of the population of Swaziland is infected with HIV/AIDS, the highest prevalence in the world. This has created a national crisis where many thousands of children have been orphaned, and only 22% grow up with their families. The small northwestern town of Bulembu, once a ghost town, is now a self-sustaining entity that combines sustainable, innovative enterprises with orphan care for 2,000 (currently at about 400) of Swaziland’s most vulnerable children. The two-pronged approach of coupling community enterprise with community care is what presently drives Bulembu Ministries Swaziland, who owns and runs the town. In this session, Ward shares how God worked in his life to bring about the Bulembu Vision and what this vision means in the larger picture of what God is doing throughout Swaziland and the world.
